Thinking about guitarist Peter Bernstein and pianist David Hazeltine today; two of my favorite cats on the NYC jazz scene. Tune is by Michael Karn who organized the date and who was new to me before this record. Not any more. Wonderful player who plays his backside off. Gregory Hutchinson booting things along in The Engine Room. Jazz musicians playing the Blues - what more could you ask for?
